Sunday in Tata

Sunday consisted of more Autobusz roulette.  After we got Megan to the train station, using a bus might I add, and I ran home from the station by way of the lake, I decided to go to Tatabanya.  There is a “mall” there with a McDonalds that has free wireless internet.  Don’t ask me why, but it’s awesome, provided you can get there.  I waited patiently at my bus stop for the bus that read “Tatabanya” on it, with my 250 forint in hand.  After three busses passed by, mine finally came.  I still don’t know how to read the different columns on the bus schedule, there is surely one for weekends, but whatever.  I just sat and waited.  I got to Tatabanya no problem, but as I was riding the short distance between the towns, I remembered it was Sunday.  As we were passing the better part of Tata, I was noticing that EVERYTHING was closed. Surely a mall was open for a bit on Sunday right?  They had to be.  Well, it was too late now, I was on my way.  I got off at the end of the road which stopped below the Media Mart at the train/bus station.  It was perfect.  I observed (of course) other people entering the mall and all was well.  I ordered a “middle” chocolate shake (medium to Hungarians) which is actually very small, but did the trick and I set up my computer.  Not only was the mall open, but I was near a store with tinted windows that advertised Lotto and gaming.  Very well dressed people were entering this tinted “store” and the whole thing just looked sketchy.  I have no idea what was really going on in there, but this is Europe and anything goes, so I stayed away.
