Kitti is on the left

For weeks now, I have thought that one particular 9^th grade girl – Kitti- was flighty and never paid attention in class because she was always writing notes.  Little did I know that the writing she has been doing is a list of English words that she would like to look up and write down the definitions for.  She has been compiling a list since I started here  - a special list for the words that I use.  So each time I have mentally scorned her in my head, she has really been working to become a better English speaker.  What a country I’m teaching in.
