here and alive

Well - after trains, buses and taxis, we're in Ljubljana - and loving it.  We had a few rocky moments, but thus is the adventure in a "Staffa family vacation" - minus two of the family members.  For once, I was not the one in trouble- my mom was (of course) right, but since my dad is never wrong, I couldn't really see how this was going to end - other than in possible chaos.  At any rate, we're going to check out Ljubljana and I'll write more tonight.
