Apparently "Black Friday" in the United States is the "anti-shopping" day here in Hungary. I did not see much evidence of this other than this set of protesters in the Christmas Market - which was bustling might I add. Evidently they are trying to cut down on commercialism here, and I don't know that the idea has caught on. Only a few of my students knew about it, so I don't know that it has really broken the threshold of popularity- maybe next year.
