I also went to see the Basilica of the Holy Blood. There is a vial that contains a cloth said to have wiped blood and water off Jesus Christ. It so happened that the vial was being taken out of it’s security storage when I was at the church, so I got in line to see it, touched the vial and said a short prayer. It was quite something. Apparently it’s been authenticated by the Vatican – so it’s got to be legit right?
